1 8 oz. can tomato sauce
1/4 c. vinegar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. mustard
Meat:
2 lbs. ground beef
2 eggs
2 tsp dried parsley (or 2 Tbs fresh parsley)
4 slices of bread (I used old hamburger buns!)
1 small onion
salt & pepper
Mix meat stuff in a bowl; mix sauce stuff in a separate bowl. Add half the sauce to the meat stuff and put the rest on top. Put in a bread pan (1 1/2 qt) and bake @ 350 for about an hour.
Price Guesstimate: $6-ish (if you get your meat for $2/lb... I got lucky and got mine for $1.74/lb this time! yay!)
Steph's Comments: I don't know who Gabby is, but I'm sure my mother-in-law does! :) This another one of her recipes. I actually don't like meat loaf, but I liked this! And I found out that my husband LOVES meat loaf - who knew? (You'd think that we haven't been married for 6 years! - Sorry honey!) :)
