1 egg
1 c. buttermilk (or 1. milk and 1-2 TB lemon juice)
2 TB. oil
1 c. flour
1 TB. sugar
1 t. baking powder
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. salt
Mix until smooth. Let sit 10 minutes (optional). Cook on griddle. Turn when sides are done and tops are bubbly. The griddle should be at about 400 - you'll know it's ready when you splash a little bit of water on it and water bounces around. Only turn the pancakes ONCE!
Price Guesstimate: Again, I'm not sure when using small amounts of baking goods. It's cheap though!
Steph's Comments: These are the world's best pancakes. No questions asked. My mom made them when I was growing up. They're even better when you put warm homemade syrup on top - and I'll put that recipe on soon! These are seriously so good for breakfast or dinner!
