Every once in awhile I'm going to stick in a non-recipe post to let you know what's going on with the blog, or if I have something else to say. I'm going to call them Steph's Snippet. I know, I know, the name's a little boring, but that's okay because I'm not really the creative type anyway! :)
So, I wanted to get your feedback. I've had a couple people suggest that I put prices on each recipe as well as serving size. The serving sizes I can totally handle. I think the prices is a GREAT idea, but I've just been hesitant because I don't know how to add up a tsp of cumin or a tbsp of soy sauce or even how to price leftover roast or whatever. Any good ideas on the best way to do this? I really would love to incorporate this, so please let me know if you can think of a good way!
Thanks!

I'd be ok with just pricing the items you would probably need to buy specifically for the recipe. For instance, most cooks have oregano on-hand so they wouldn't need to go out and buy it, but chicken/rice/etc you would need to go get.
